Torremolinos Spain

The country of Spain is a beautiful place to visit at any time of the year. Here you will find a number of exciting cities and charming towns to stay and visit in. Of these multitudes you may wish to see about coming to Torremolinos. This town can be found in southern Spain where it lies between the Mijas Mountains and Malaga Bay. The town of Torremolinos is located in the Costa del Sol region of Andalusia. The town of Torremolinos is roughly 12 kilometers south of the city of Málaga.
Of the many seaside resorts that you will find in the Costa del Sol area the town of Torremolinos with its close access to the Mediterranean Sea was one of the first resorts to develop. While the town is primarily a seaside resort you will find a number of activities that you can engage in besides those found by the beaches of Torremolinos or that of the Mediterranean. Some of these great places that you may wish to visit while you are here will include the La Carihuela beach.
Here you will be able to relax under the warm sun or play in the lovely sea waters of the Mediterranean. While you are at the beach you may wish to see about engaging in some of the water sports such as swimming, windsurfing, pedal boats, water skiing, kite surfing and going on boat tours. Some of these tours will allow you to see dolphins. You will find the boats where you watch the dolphins from departing from the Benalmádena marina in Torremolinos.
Of course if you are after some fun rides you will find that you can enjoy yourself in the Aqualand water park. This w
ater park is situated about 10 minutes from the center of Torremolinos. The water park has gained the reputation of being the largest water park in the whole of Andalusia. The beach and the water park are not the only places of enjoyment that you will find in this city. There are numerous monuments and other places that you should visit while you are in Torremolinos.
For instance you will find a visit to the Principe de Asturias which is the Municipal Auditorium. This auditorium which is one of the biggest auditoriums in the Andalusia is used mainly for ballets, theater productions, classical concerts and many other cultural events. From this auditorium you may wish to visit some of the other sights in the city. These will include the Botanic Garden Molino de Inca. This is the Botanical gardens of Torremolinos. Here you will be able to look at a number of plants which are indigenous to the region. In addition to these plants you will be able to see how other plants from a number of other countries grow well in Spain.
Once you have visited the Botanic Garden Molino de Inca you may wish to see places like the parish church of San Miguel Arcángel. You will also be able to visit the Casa de los Navaja as well as that of Torre de Pimentel. Lovers of nature may enjoy a visit to the Torremolinos Crocodile Park. Here you will be able to look at a number of different crocodiles which can be found living in this area of Spain.
