As an Avid Astronomer I am always on the lookout for an opportunity to share the night sky with others. This day the two came together in a beautiful symmetry.

NASA's Phoenix lander is scheduled for a May 25th touchdown on the surface of the Red Planet. This mission has the potential to take our understanding of the suitability of the sub surface conditions on Mars for life to a new level. If NASA can pull this off, it will be quite an achievement just to get it down on the surface !
